Let’s look back on an remarkable year together.
The year 2025 was one of resilience and steady advancement for TAITRA amid rapid global transformation. Working closely with the government and industry leaders, we turned challenges into new opportunities. Together, we supported Taiwanese enterprises in expanding their global presence and contributed to another record-breaking year for Taiwan’s exports—demonstrating the strength, creativity, and competitiveness of our industries.
A defining highlight of the year was TAITRA’s operation of the TECH WORLD Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. The pavilion brought Taiwan’s cross-disciplinary innovation to life through immersive exhibitions and dynamic performances, welcoming more than 1.16 million visitors and guests from over 80 countries. It became one of the Expo’s most popular attractions. The “Life Theater” earned the Bronze Award at the World Expolympics, and ELLE recognized our staff uniforms as among the most stylish at the Expo—receiving widespread acclaim across Japanese media and social platforms.
Across the global technology landscape, COMPUTEX once again reaffirmed its position at the forefront of the AI revolution. Marking the 10th anniversary of InnoVEX, the exhibition brought together professionals from over 150 countries, fostering meaningful collaboration opportunities. Keynote sessions featured NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang alongside global leaders from Google, Foxconn, and MediaTek, each offering visionary insights into the future of the AI ecosystem—underscoring Taiwan’s pivotal role in the global supply chain.
International market development also remained a priority. The Taiwan Expo in Dallas highlighted Taiwan’s strengths in advanced manufacturing, smart technologies, and healthcare innovation, while the Taiwan–U.S. Industry Collaboration Forum deepened bilateral partnerships. We expanded outreach in Malaysia, the Philippines, and India, supporting hundreds of Taiwanese companies in capturing growth opportunities across fast-growing markets.
As part of a government initiative, Taiwan Trade and Investment Service Centers were launched in Fukuoka, Prague, Warsaw, and Dallas, offering one-stop services to strengthen market connectivity and resilience for Taiwanese businesses worldwide.
Domestically, the Taichung International Convention and Exhibition Center began trial operations as Taiwan’s first large-scale diamond-grade green building venue, forming a dual-hub exhibition network with northern Taiwan that elevates our national MICE capacity.
As global supply chains evolve and geopolitical uncertainties reshape international trade, TAITRA remains steadfast in its mission—innovating through change, advancing amid challenges, and standing as the most trusted partner for Taiwanese enterprises worldwide.
