Global UAV Media Conference
Taiwanese companies Thunder Tiger and Taiwan Drone 100 showcased Taiwan-made unmanned aerial vehicles integrated with AI applications, highlighting their use in fire detection, bridge inspections, and urban monitoring. The event received coverage from over 20 domestic and international media outlets.

Smart Mobility Spring International Networking
TAITRA invited Taiwan's leading electric vehicle ecosystem players to introduce their latest products to representatives from major Japanese trading companies, international car manufacturers, and tier-one suppliers.

E-Mobility Delegation
France & Italy: The delegation visited 4 automakers: Renault, IVECO, Volvo Trucks, Dallara, along with tier-1 suppliers, startups, and automotive associations, securing business opportunities worth USD 27.31 million.
Thailand: The delegation of EV parts, charging, and battery industry visited German and Thai car manufacturers, procurement centers, and tier-1 assembly plants. A total of 123 meetings were held with 42 buyers. Chargers, automotive lighting, and harnesses were the most popular products, resulting in USD 4.49 million business opportunities.

Resilience Taiwan
Taichung: 65 buyers from 26 countries gathered in Taiwan’s machinery and bike industry hub, where 517 meetings with 324 Taiwanese companies were held, resulting in business opportunities worth USD 213 million.
Taipei: In response to China's ECFA tariff suspension, 140 buyers from 28 countries were invited to Taiwan and had 700 meetings with 300 Taiwanese companies, generating USD 185 million business opportunities.

Sourcing Taiwan:
Smart Application
Seven smart application sourcing meetings were held, targeting buyers by industry. The events collaborated with industry associations, benefiting industrial clusters.
Smart Vehicle
50 buyers from 22 countries focused on EV components, charging equipment, automotive and motorcycle parts, including world’s benchmarks BMW Motorrad, Renault Electric Vehicles, and India's largest motorcycle manufacturer Hero. 454 business meetings were held with 170 Taiwanese companies, generating business opportunities worth USD 345.79 million.

Dentistry/ Orthopedics
Collaborating with the Taipei Dental Association and New Taipei City Dental Associations, 23 buyers from 15 countries met with 41 Taiwanese companies for 234 meetings, generating business opportunities worth USD 42.5 million.

Imaging Applications & Security
Technology
In partnership with the Taiwan Electronic Equipment Industry Association(TEEIA), 225 business meetings were facilitated between 69 Taiwanese companies and 30 buyers from 17 countries, covering sectors such as smart retail, imaging applications, disaster prevention, and Security Technology. The event generated an estimated USD 149.93 million in business opportunities.

Smart City
Held concurrently with COMPUTEX, the event brought together 47 buyers from 25 countries specializing in advanced communication and networking products, Industry 4.0 and embedded systems, consumer electronics peripherals, as well as smart home and entertainment solutions. These buyers engaged in 408 meetings with 120 Taiwanese companies, generating business opportunities worth USD 770 million.

Smart Medical Devices
31 buyers from 14 countries were invited to purchase products and solutions for digital diagnostic, telehealth, precision medicine, medica AI and healthcare applications and met with 71 Taiwanese companies for 255 meetings, generating USD 54.57 million in business. Notable buyers included France’s largest healthcare group, a subsidiary of Itochu group from Japan, and a large medical distributor in UAE.

Smart Manufacturing
Held concurrently with Taipei Automation, the event brought together 15 buyers from 11 countries specializing in automation mechanism, smart machining tools, smart logistics and system integration. These buyers engaged in 89 meetings with 39 Taiwanese companies, generating business opportunities worth USD 7.015 million.

Hardware & Hand Tools
Held at the International Hardware & Tools Expo Taiwan, the event brought together six buyers from five countries specializing in hardware, fasteners, hand tools, maintenance equipment, and gardening supplies. These buyers engaged in 38 meetings with 19 Taiwanese companies, generating business opportunities worth USD 6.556 million.

Precision Components & High-End Hardware Fasteners and Hand Tools Delegation to Japan
A delegation of 100 companies specializing in metal processing, cutting, forging, casting, and plastic injection molding traveled to Fukuoka, Osaka, and Tokyo for a trade mission. They conducted 1,618 meetings with 623 buyers, generating USD 58.07 million in business opportunities.

The Plastics Show
At The Plastics Show (NPE) in the U.S., a Taiwan pavilion was established to showcase the petrochemical and plastics supply chain. In addition, pop-up product launch events were hosted, facilitating business discussions between 327 buyers and 66 Taiwanese companies, generating USD 13.9 million in business opportunities

At Europe’s largest industrial PC exhibition, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion hosted the "Meet Innovations in Taiwan IPCs" showcase, generating 91 media reports, including Elektronik and Financial Times, reaching 7.6 million people.

A total of 54 Taiwanese enterprises participated in the world’s largest biennial electronic components exhibition in Germany. They held business meetings with 1,657 international buyers, generating business opportunities valued at USD 134.3 million.

ISC West
16 companies formed the Taiwan Pavilion at the International Security Conference & Exposition (ISC West), showcasing products like facial recognition systems, 360-degree cameras, and Ultra-Low Power Endpoint AI Processors. The pavilion attracted 1,038 buyers, generating over USD 13 million in terms of business opportunities.

COMNEXT
6 Taiwanese enterprises participated in the Next Generation Communication Technology Expo (COMNEXT). They held business meetings with 320 international buyers, generating business opportunities valued at USD 4.34 million.

Electronic Components Trade Mission to Japan
25 Taiwanese enterprises visited Osaka and Tokyo, Japan, showcasing PCB, cables, connectors, passive components, displays, modules, etc. They held business meetings with 262 local buyers, generating business opportunities valued at USD 17.84 million.

James on Air
Online program was produced, focusing on themes such as smart hospitals, cancer treatment, regenerative medicine, and a new healthy lifestyle. Taiwan's leading medical experts and physicians were invited to engage in discussions with Chairman James C. F. Huang of TAITRA, introducing the global Chinese community to Taiwan’s top-tier medical industry, advanced medical technologies, renowned doctors, and outstanding medical teams. The program garnered a total of 30,936 online views

Taiwan Wellness Lounge
To promote health check-ups and medical aesthetics for international business travelers, the 'Taiwan Wellness Lounge' was set up at the Healthcare+ Expo Taiwan integrated these services, showcasing Taiwan’s strengths in health check-ups and medical aesthetics.

MEDICA
101 Taiwanese companies participated at the world's largest medical trade show in Düsseldorf, Germany, including 84 in the Taiwan Pavilion and 17 in the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion, attracting 3,808 buyers and generating USD 67.69 million in business opportunities. TAITRA Chairman James C.F. Huang hosted the "AI Surgical Solutions" product launch, which drew major medical device companies and resulted in 48 media reports, reaching 1.9 million people.

BIO International Convention
The Taiwan Pavilion featured the themes of "Precision Medicine," "Digital Healthcare," and "New Drug Development & CDMO." TAITRA enlisted 20 companies to participate in the pavilion and facilitated 381 business meetings between the exhibitors and buyers, generating USD 19.6 million in business opportunities.

Carbon Reduction Measures

ESG Seminars
Hosted seminars in Taipei and Taichung. The British Standards Institution (BSI) and Dun & Bradstreet provided insights on ESG policy planning and implementation guidelines. A total of 321 participants attended online and in person.
CBAM Seminars
Ten sessions were held across seven cities, where expert instructors provided guidance, and one-on-one service booths assisted companies complete CBAM reporting. A total of 3,695 participants attended both online and in person.
Dedicated Project Service
Provided CBAM reporting guidance through online meetings and on-site visits for 155 companies. Collaborated with three universities to establish regional service centers, assisting 150 companies. Provided CBAM consulting to 70 companies at service booths in three Taiwan International Tradeshows.
Carbon Reduction Workshops
15 workshops were held across six cities, guiding SMEs through group discussions on carbon reduction solutions, with 420 participants in total.
Carbon Reduction Forum
A seminar on "COP29 Trends and Corporate Response" was held, featuring expert insights from the COP29 conference, international carbon reduction trends, government resources, and successful corporate cases. A total of 976 participants joined online and in person.
Guiding Companies Through International Certification
Guidance was provided to 60 companies for international green certifications, including GRS, RCS, and ISCC, generating USD 15.11 million business opportunities.

Overseas Promotional Activities
A "TAIWAN SELECT" section was set up at AEON supermarkets in Malaysia with 40+ brands and 150 products, along with flash events. In addition, tasting booths and five promotional events were held at three iTAIWAN FOODS locations in the U.S.

Domestic Promotional Activities
This includes participation in major events such as the WBSC Premier12, where international teams received Taiwanese food gift packages. At COMPUTEX and SEMICON Taiwan, the "Hospitality Lounge" offered international buyers a taste of Taiwanese snacks and teas.

Taiwan Food Global Presence
Taiwan Food Pavilion:
Showcasing 589 products from 301 Taiwanese processed food companies, featuring low-carbon packaging and food products, and those with domestic and international certifications and awards, in Thailand, South Korea, the Philippines and the United States.
Low-Carbon Packaging and Food Display Section:
A section showcasing Taiwan's low-carbon Packaging and Food products was set up at international food exhibitions in Singapore, Australia, and Paris, featuring 132 products from 94 companies.
Business Matchmaking:
Food procurement conferences were hosted in Taipei and Kaohsiung, connecting 106 buyers from 21 countries with 223 Taiwanese companies and generating USD83.88 million in business opportunities.

Taiwan Image
Set up the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion at international trade shows, and showcased quality Taiwanese products at multinational events to promote the MIT industry image.
Taiwan Excellence Awards Ceremony
The 33rd Taiwan Excellence Awards honored 155 companies and 286 products, with 10 Gold Award winners and 20 Silver Award recipients. The Gold Awards were symbolically presented by Paris Olympic badminton men's doubles gold medalists, Lee Yang and Wang Chi-Lin. More than 50% of the award-winning products are information and communication technology (ICT) products, with applications spanning AI, sustainability, and innovation.

Go Green with Taiwan
The competition received 396 proposals from 45 countries, showcasing Taiwan's sustainable solutions. The top three winners were from the UK, Hungary, and the Philippines, and the award presentation attracted 50 representatives from embassies, academia, and businesses.


Co-branding with Japan’s Good Design Award
Taiwan Excellence partnered with Japan’s Good Design Award for an event in Tokyo, featuring actor Dean Fujioka and attracting 140,000 visitors in three days. TAITRA also signed an MOU with the Japan Institute of Design Promotion to enhance Taiwan-Japan design collaboration.


Sun Moon Lake International Swimming Carnival
For the first time, Taiwan Excellence companies and sports experts participated, promoting Taiwan Excellence products. The booth drew 22,606 visitors, with media exposure reaching 1 million people.


ARCHIDEX
For the first time, Taiwan Excellence collaborated with curators to create the Green Premium Pavilion using innovative materials. The pavilion garnered 52 media reports, reaching 550,000 people.
