Chairman's Message

Welcome to TAITRA's 2024 Annual Report!
2024 was a year of remarkable achievements, driven by our dedication to helping Taiwanese businesses expand their global reach. From organizing international trade shows to promoting overseas market development, our efforts delivered significant results.
Let’s look back on an exciting year together.

2024 has been a year of transformation, innovation, and global engagement for TAITRA. As Taiwan continues to play a pivotal role in international trade, we have embraced emerging AI trends and navigated global challenges to drive growth and collaboration across industries.
A key milestone of the year was COMPUTEX Taipei, which has firmly established itself as a global hub for AI innovation. The event welcomed an unprecedented lineup of CEOs from industry leaders such as AMD, Qualcomm, Intel, Supermicro, and NVIDIA, further solidifying Taiwan's prominence in the AI and semiconductor sectors.
TAITRA also marked a historic debut in Europe with the first-ever TAIWAN Expo in Berlin. Aligned with the EU's green and digital goals, the expo was further strengthened by the Taiwan-EU Semiconductor Forum, where key players including TSMC, Merck, and Realtek, engaged in high-level discussions on supply chain resilience and innovation.
Expanding Taiwan's global footprint remained a priority. The Taiwan Expo in India grew by 1.6 times, generating over USD100 million in business opportunities. Additionally, our U.S. Business Day fostered deeper collaboration with visiting state administrators from Arizona, Montana, Oklahoma and South Carolina. Meanwhile, strategic partnerships with Japanese firms have opened new avenues for exploring market opportunities in Africa.
Recognizing AI's transformative impact on global industries, TAITRA has embraced artificial intelligence as a strategic tool to enhance business strategies. We introduced the TAITRA Index, providing valuable insights into economic trends and helping businesses navigate global challenges. Furthermore, we launched AiEZ TRADE, an AI-powered platform that connects Taiwanese businesses with international buyers. To empower corporate leaders, we initiated the AI CEO Workshop, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to integrate AI solutions into their operations effectively.
Beyond trade and technology, TAITRA remains committed to social responsibility. We modernized our 34-year-old headquarters with digital solutions and shared workspaces to enhance efficiency. We introduced TAITRA Family Day, strengthening bonds with employees and their families. Additionally, our Love Festival, co-hosted with local organizations, welcomed diplomats as guest lecturers, enriching underprivileged children with cultural learning experiences.
As we navigate an era of geopolitical shifts and economic uncertainties, TAITRA remains steadfast in its mission to drive innovation and expand Taiwan's role in the global economy. We will continue to break new ground, strengthen our international partnerships, and support Taiwanese enterprises in seizing business opportunities worldwide.
President & CEO's Message

This, along with strong export growth in ASEAN, Mexico, and India, underscores the success of Taiwan's market diversification strategy.
